DESCRIPTION

Locales is the final project I completed for my technical labor certification in programming skills for mobile applications. The objective of this project was to develop an application that includes the following features:

• Activity login
• Activity main
• Activity map
• Activity list
• Activity add

As a result of the challenge, a visual identity was created for the application, which is now presented as a BETA version. This application allows users to save and organize their favorite places to visit.

LEARNINGS

Thank you for viewing my first Android application project! 🙌 I thoroughly enjoyed working on Locales and learned a great deal from the experience. I hope you enjoyed exploring this project as much as I enjoyed creating it.

1. This project helped me to ground my rol as a designer and understand broadly what the work of a programmer is like, this experience will allow me to work with a global perspective in future projects.
‍
2. This was the first project when I had to program and design, so I'm pleased with the result and I'm motivated to continue improving my skills in both areas to enhance user experience further.

NEXT STEPS

Considering that this project only represents the initial concept of LOCALES, there is still much work to be done. Future efforts will include conducting user research, defining the application's value, enhancing the flow and interactions, and performing usability studies. All these steps aim to develop an application that provides the best possible user experience.
